Give interested shoppers a way back.

Connect abandoned-cart events to consent-based SMS and email follow-ups with Blocx. Your storefront controls timing, eligibility, and checkout links.

Build a useful follow-up from the cart activity your storefront already captures, with a clear path back to checkout.

Bring eligible shoppers back to the basket they left, without treating every visitor as a marketing audience.

What makes a reminder irrelevant

The reminder arrives after the customer already purchased

A sequence disconnected from current cart and order state can keep sending after the reason for the message has disappeared.

The link leads somewhere other than the saved basket

A generic storefront destination makes the shopper repeat the work of finding the original items.

A contact detail is mistaken for permission

Having an email address or phone number does not automatically establish the right to send a cart promotion.

When to remind, and when not to send

Follow each stage from the event in your system to the message your customer receives and the next action in your product.

Send a focused first reminder

Let your storefront decide when a cart qualifies. Check permission and current cart state before preparing a concise follow-up.

SMS

Your basket is saved. Open your store account to review your items and resume checkout. Reply STOP to opt out.

Next step: Return directly to the saved basket.

Offer a short, opted-in mobile prompt

Use SMS only when your consent and sending rules allow it. Keep the message relevant to the specific cart rather than adding unrelated offers.

Give a hesitant shopper a useful support route

If your application identifies an eligible follow-up, offer help rather than assuming a discount is the answer.

Stop when the customer has moved on

Recheck cart, order, consent, and account state before each send. The stop condition belongs in your storefront or lifecycle logic.

Your event
Checkout completed before a scheduled follow-up
Application action
No send

No follow-up should be submitted: the customer's order is already complete.

Next step: Cancel the pending reminder in your own application.

Check eligibility before every follow-up

Define eligibility in your store

Your application identifies the cart, recipient, permission, delay, and stop conditions. Do not derive abandonment from messaging activity alone.

Recheck state before submitting

Confirm that checkout is still incomplete, the cart destination is valid, and the recipient remains eligible.

Measure the actual storefront outcome

Correlate your message records with store-side visits and completed orders under your privacy rules. Delivery alone is not a recovered sale.

Permission and current cart state come first

Honor opt-outs and timing restrictions

Apply consent, quiet-hours, opt-out, and channel requirements through your own audience and scheduling rules.

Suppress completed or ineligible carts

Do not let an earlier scheduling decision override a newer purchase, preference change, or account state.

Do not promise recovery performance

Results depend on your store, audience, message, timing, and checkout experience. No recovery-rate guarantee is represented.

Integration requirements

Cart detection, scheduling, customer consent, and checkout links come from your systems. No prebuilt store integration or recovery result is promised.

Cart follow-up, explained

Does Blocx detect abandoned carts?

Your storefront or existing lifecycle tool supplies the cart event and eligibility decision. Blocx delivers the messages that your integration submits.

Who creates the checkout link?

Your store generates the destination and enforces access to the correct cart. Recheck its validity before sending rather than using a generic or stale link.

How do we stop reminders after a purchase?

Your application should check current order and cart state before each send and cancel its pending follow-ups when checkout completes. This is not a native cart sequence promised by the messaging platform.

Can we use a phone number captured at checkout?

Only where the intended communication is permitted by applicable consent, carrier, and marketing rules. Capturing a number is not itself blanket permission to send promotional reminders.

Make the reminder relevant before you make it automatic.

Start with a valid basket destination, a clear eligibility rule, and a reliable stop condition. Then connect the permitted message.
